Abstract

LIMA, Celia Blini de. Under the golden locks. Ide (São Paulo) [online]. 2018, vol.40, n.65, pp. 39-48. ISSN 0101-3106.

In this article we deal with the theme of envy given its importance in analytical work, especially when it presents itself as a central point within the analysis. I tried to treat it within a rather broad vision, bringing some authors who deal with the theme, with the purpose of illuminating less obvious aspects of their expression, emphasizing the personal injury of the coexistence of this presence within the self. We bring clippings of the work with Guida, a woman of 45 years, in order to present the traces of her presence and to promote a moment to think about which theory we support to understand it, since this choice, modifies the referral in the clinic. Although envy is a feeling that can create difficulties in relationships, especially the most intimate ones, internal marks are deep and permanent, creating a feeling of perennial dissatisfaction.

Keywords : Envy; Desire; Frustration; Incompleteness; Environmental failure.
