FAVILLI, Myrna Pia. Transformations on the analyst's position within the setting: we do not own a single place anymore - up to what extent are we able get?. Ide (São Paulo) [online]. 2018, vol.40, n.66, pp. 111-120. ISSN 0101-3106.

This article's goal is to discuss the analyst's transformations within the setting mainly from the countertransference notion. It proposes an outlook on the analytical relation as a space in which a double scene occurs: the patient's relationship with himself and in respect to object relations. According to this line of thought, the psychoanalytical practice should imply a space of freedom which enables each individual's creativity and autonomy to emerge (ego originality). It points out to this position's value within training analysis, which could contribute for new evolutions of the psychoanalytical practice in a way that the analyst's identity is not destroyed. It questions whether this ego originality could also be developed beyond training institutes.

Palavras-chave : Transformation; Setting; Countertransference; Freedom; Creativity.
