The present work aims at articulating psychoanalysis and mysticism, based on the biography of João de Yepes (1542-1591). Some elements of the mystical field and the specific historical context of the protagonist are presented which, in dialogue with psychoanalysis, constitute the field in which he can see his identity recognized.
