This text discusses a clinical proposal that consider the incidences of discursive helplessness on the immigrant's subjectivity. The reading that we raise has theoretical basis on the psychoanalysis of Freud and Lacan, in the articulations with other authors, fundamental for understanding the relation between subjectivity and culture that touches the clinic.This study is justified by allowing a subscription of an ethical position in the face of the social demands, constructing paths for a clinic that considers the specificities of the immigrant, with the aims to ensuring an ethical listening that contributes to the construction of a clinic that attends the specificities of the immigrant in front of the discursive helplessness.
