How do we perceive the passage of time? To answer this question, the article will be based on the concept of narcissism and the relationships is establishes with the perception of temporality. And, in order to understand these relationships, we will summon up Shakespeare's help, analyzing four of his plays, inquiring how the characters in each play deal, at different times in life, with the symbolic body of time.
