Resumen

A work by Robert Capa, one by Robert Doisneau, and another by Shōji Ueda appear in the entrance of the Tokyo Photographic Art Museum, composing what will be referred to here as an iconographic photomontage. Taking as a trigger a brief reflection by Sigmund Freud on the importance of memory in an interview, and the idea that images also suffer from reminiscences, we sought to reflect on the dialogues established by these three photographs, once associated with each other, under the aegis of the thought of the French philosopher Georges Didi-Huberman. In order to examine the aforementioned montage, we investigated each of the photographs and the biography of their authors, followed by an articulation of the data obtained with Didihubermanian thinking and the post-war period in Japan.
