This little essay is a new reading, after ten years, of the book Art, Pain, from the point of view of the pandemic nowadays and focuses on interpretations of compassion and the conception of the spectator as producer of the art works' multiple meanings. It also points out that psychoanalysis can provide a special meaningful relationship of reception of art.
