Abstract

FLORES, Vera Maria Pollo. Perversion and queer theory. Tempo psicanal. [online]. 2010, vol.42, n.1, pp. 131-148. ISSN 0101-4838.

This text verifies initially the contrast between the great incidence of the word "perversion" in psychoanalytical theory and its small frequency in clinical reports. It intends to discuss the hypothesis that the feminist politic named "queer theory" is a contemporary form of social bond based on the perverse mechanism of the Verleugnung and that its objective is the construction of a new sexual knowledge. The first section of the text develops the psychoanalytical theory of perversion, consulting Freud and Lacan's texts. The second section explains some of the most important arguments of queer theory, particularly the theoretical dominance of a compulsory heterosexuality and a primary sexual multiplicity. The final paragraphs are a psychoanalytical review of queer theory.

Keywords : perversion; Verleugnung; fetishism; queer theory; compulsory heterosexuality.
