The author begins with a comparison between the controversial work of the playwright José Joaquim de Campos Leão - self-proclaimed Qorpo-Santo - and the memories of Daniel Paul Schreber, emphasizing the effects of the signifier and of the letter in the organization of the delirium and its manifestation in the body. The author also highlights the peculiar manner in which the letter leads to the constitution of a psychical subject, such as through psychoanalysis, in cases in which the author is at the same time author and object of his writing.
