This article discusses the links between transference and temporality in the clinic of psychosis from a psychoanalytic point of view, using the legacy of Freud and Lacan as main references. We consider a hypothesis regarding the psychotic constitution as having a temporal abyss, since there is no incidence of symbolic beacons able to establish a rhythm - a break - between the subject's field and the Other's field. This impasse would mean specificities in transference when listening to these subjects, leading us to a question about the analyst's position in it, where the possibility of forming a subjective time is in question.
