This article is part of a research project on "The Clinical Method" funded by the National Council for the Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) from the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation from Brazil. It takes the neuter into consideration as a rhetoric resource, a place in language that allows the occurrence of Psychopathology as a language (logos) about the psychic pathos. The neuter would be the place in language occupied by the clinician.
