Abstract

PINTO, Tainá  and  RIVERA, Tania. Colidouescapo: poetry, dream, condensation and language in Freud. Tempo psicanal. [online]. 2012, vol.44, n.1, pp. 201-219. ISSN 0101-4838.

In this article common points between the word formation taken from the book-poem Codidouescapo by Augusto de Campos and the treatment that words usually get in dreams are explored. In both shaping the unconscious and in poetry, the word is treated as a concrete subject, something visual and audible. Our reflexion uses the Condensation, the fundamental concept of the Freudian dream-work theory, as the operation that allows the formation of "portmanteau words" which resist to any signification and at the same time open themselves to multiple pathways of meanings. In this paradoxical place, in the limits of language, such formations are articulated to the navel of the dream, point of dense entanglement of the dream thoughts which do not succumb to interpretation.

Keywords : poetry; dream; condensation.
