From an unusual event, the article reflects on the analytical work and especially on the participation of the psychoanalyst in analyzing the narrative of the patient and in the construction of a clinical case. The truths built under analysis are understood as delusional from a skeptical perspective which is opposed to the cynicism of impostors. Through this contrast a reflection on what might be the truth of the subject nowadays is realized.
