Abstract

COSTA, Ana Maria Medeiros da; FERRAZ, Maria Aimée Laupman  and  RIBEIRO, Valdelice Nascimento de França. Love, the feminine and writing. Tempo psicanal. [online]. 2013, vol.45, n.1, pp. 29-38. ISSN 0101-4838.

The article proposes to address the theme of love for the subject in the feminine position, and its possible relations with writing, according to Freud and Lacan. Lacan, in his well-known picture called Quantum Formulas of Sexuation, locates female sexuality beyond the phallic function, as related to another jouissance, rather than the sexual jouissance. In this feminine position, one feels that part of him is stuck to a phallic jouissance, and the other part, in what Lacan calls the Other Jouissance. Nothing is known about this Other Jouissance, except that it is experienced. We propose that who is in the feminine position is more driven to learn to do something with the Real, and writing may be a way to circumvent this supplemental Jouissance.

Keywords : love; jouissance; writing.
