Abstract

This articles aims at locating key points in some Freudian texts that can contribute to the deepening of studies regarding the clinical case construction practice. The bet is that, through this way, it is possible to approach significant points about the subject, which would enable a better apprehension of what is at stake when we evoke the perspective of the clinical case construction as a work tool in institutions. We seek, after locate how Freud understands the construction and apply in some of his clinical cases, to reflect on the idea of interpretation and the way it relates to the construction of cases. We call, for this, points of the thought of Freud and of other authors. Thus, our intention is to start a conceptual research about the “clinical case construction”, admitting the possibility of a greater appropriation of this study theme.
