The purpose of this paper is to present a critical discussion of the concept of group's identity through a dialogue between the works of Freud and Hardt & Negri. We work in the denaturalization of this concept, denouncing the conflicting forces that participate in its construction, forces that always emerge a sense of strange. Therefore, we emphasize the mobility and the incompleteness present in the identificatory mechanisms, incompleteness that binds to a memory of an identity intends to bury.
