Abstract

DAMOUS, Issa  and  KLAUTAU, Perla. Infant registers in adolescence: self-mutilation as very early traumas updating. Tempo psicanal. [online]. 2016, vol.48, n.2, pp. 95-113. ISSN 0101-4838.

In this article, we work the trauma concept, including the helplessness and instinctual issues, articulated to the precocious cumulative environmental failures, principally in its stimulant-containing function. Based on this theory context we add a clinical situation of self-mutilation in adolescence. In this way, we hope to find a messenger value to the act driven by the repetition compulsion that, despite of its desobjetalizing goal, can be understood as an update movement and an early trauma elaboration attempt.

Keywords : trauma; helplessness; environment; repetition compulsion; messenger act.
