Resumen

FERREIRA, Maria de Fátima  y  FERRARI, Ilka Franco. The writing and Virginia Woolf: life and death. Tempo psicanal. [online]. 2017, vol.49, n.1, pp. 80-97. ISSN 0101-4838.

Under the bias of psychoanalysis, this text investigates the role of the writing in the life of the writer Virginia Woolf. From what Lacan taught in his seminar dedicated to the writer James Joyce's work, The sinthoma, the thesis investigates the real presence of subjectivity in the writer's life and how she sought to treat the deadly phenomena arising there from. When trying to appoint her symptoms, she widely sought to solve her desperation translating, thus, her foreclosure. No word was to name it. So she meant with her writing a kind of libidinal bleeding, trying to find "the" true fully word, which could reach "the" truth of her symptoms and stop her pain.

Palabras clave : writing function; psychoanalysis; real; Virginia Woolf.
