Abstract

FRANCA NETO, Oswaldo. A society's truth is processed as an immanent subversion. Tempo psicanal. [online]. 2018, vol.50, n.1, pp. 15-31. ISSN 0101-4838.

By using some psychoanalytical concepts as reference, this paper proposes what we would call a social clinics approach. This article advocates the idea that the subjective truth of a certain society would not be apprehensible in itself, but would not exist either in the outside only, as something unattainable. The truth would be produced as an effect from the act of supporting the consequences of placing our most intimate alterity in the spotlight. Alterity has a meaning of Otherness, and would be our inapprehensible, ungovernable extimacy, doomed to keep silent on behalf of the stabilization of a certain world.

Keywords : Society; subject; truth; alterity; ideology.
