Abstract

MORAES, Natália de Andrade de  and  PERRONE, Cláudia Maria. Political-clinics perspectives: psychoanalysis, autism and the neoliberal reason. Tempo psicanal. [online]. 2018, vol.50, n.2, pp. 11-30. ISSN 0101-4838.

This article aimed to problematize the autism statute in contemporary days, as well as the place reserved to autistic subjects in a social crossed by neoliberal and capitalistic discourses. On such direction, it was aimed to comprehend the usage of the significants "autism/autistic" to present the current historical moment, catalyst of the erasure of the other's existence and of the alterity dimension. Therefore, it was proposed the analysis of an advertisement video referring to the "hug jacket", a product destined to ease autistic children. In an ultra-individualist scenario, objects' imperative and lacking social bonds, the autistic subject emerges in the place of weirdness when reflecting on the contemporary tendency of the Other's absence, the monotony and the isolation. Being what the social denies to acknowledge, there remains to the autistics the exclusion or the proposals of inclusion through training and through the denial of the difference. In other direction, psychoanalysis proposes a possible way out of the capitalist speech throughout the introduction of the innovative, in the support of a desire that enables the subject its tiny singularity that it owns.

Keywords : psychoanalysis; capitalist discourse; neoliberalism; autism.
