Abstract

FRANCA, Cassandra Pereira; TANNURE, Cynthia da Conceição  and  RABELO, Danielle Pereira Matos. Challenges of theoretical: technical link in the children and adolescents' sexual abuse clinic. Tempo psicanal. [online]. 2018, vol.50, n.2, pp. 373-400. ISSN 0101-4838.

The current paper describes the work developed in a research and science outreach project from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), which treats children and adolescents who are victims of sexual abuse. Conclusions of two PhD dissertations which have been inspired by the hearing of patients followed by this project will be reported. By means of both dissertations, it is possible to highlight some challenges present in the construction of the sexual violence clinic: the reality of neglected and violent care, coupled with the updating of archaic elements, stemming from the first objectual relations which have had no chance of further working through. First, this scenario will be presented in the context of parent incestual relations, which denounced obstacles in the introjection of reassuring objects that envelop the angst and excitations stemming from body changes imposed by puberty. The next step is to show some limits related to the precarity of the trust bonds which echo the primitive frameworks of the relations between mothers and their children regarding the stories of intrafamilial sexual abuse stories. Such research, by thinking about the issue of care, lead to the need of further studies and interventions in children and adolescents' sexual violence area. Those studies and interventions must comprehend the connection between intrapsychic elements and a set of factors related to the production of human suffering, such as concrete order issues (economic and social matters, for instance). We have seen a reverberation of such efforts in the proposal of an enlarged clinic, with the need of strengthening an integrated, multidimensional vision of the subject with which we work.

Keywords : archaic object relations; enlarged clinic; incest; sexual abuse.
