Abstract

GERBER, Keilah Freitas  and  ZANOTTI, Susane Vasconcelos. Proper name: theoretical influences and clinical incidences of naming in Lacan's theory. Tempo psicanal. [online]. 2020, vol.52, n.1, pp. 61-89. ISSN 0101-4838.

The paper addresses the proper name in the psychoanalytic clinic based on the Lacanian recommendation that the analyst should pay attention to what the patient is called, since the name is never indifferent. Through the elaboration of a Thesaurus, we analyze the main theoretical influences of Lacan on the nomination passing through authors like Allan Gardiner, Bertrand Russell, Gottlob Frege and Claude Lévi-Strauss; we also approach the propositions of Saul Kripke. From the approaches and contrapositions to the works of different theorists, Lacan constructs his own conception on proper name that will culminate in the theorization on the sinthome.

Keywords : proper name; psychoanalytic clinic; Lacan; sinthome.
