This article shows the practice of a team of psychoanalysts in Barcelona working in a Mental Health service, the Nou Barris Foundation for Mental Health. The device supports the articulation between psychoanalysis and social education to treat the various problems that arise in children and adolescents under guardianship due to a diagnosis of distress. It explores what we call the "gift of the word". The emphasis is then on conversation practice. It gives an account of the current moment of uncertainty introduced by the pandemic and the way in which psychoanalysts read that uncertainty. It explores the difference between isolation and loneliness which are two key figures in the moment of lockdown.
