Abstract

PINHEIRO, Nadja Nara Barbosa. Visibility, transitority and complexity: psychoanalytic clinic at hospitals. Reverso [online]. 2006, vol.28, n.53, pp. 33-42. ISSN 0102-7395.

The present study discusses the psychoanalytical practice that takes place in hospitals and out patient clinics. Understanding that, in these environments, practice is different from that of private offices, it is therefore necessary to consolidate distinct clinical patterns, appropriate to this type of practice. These parameters are considered in the light of Foucault‘s perspectives on disciplinary institutions and Winnicott's views on the clinical work with paradoxes.

Keywords : Psychoanalytical practice; Hospital; Winnicott.
