Resumen

PIMENTA, Arlindo Carlos. From Freud’s hostile object to Lacan’s object a. Reverso [online]. 2007, vol.29, n.54, pp. 55-61. ISSN 0102-7395.

The author analyses the "hostile object" described by Freud in the "Project for a Scientific Psychology" (1895) and confronts it with Lacan’s "object a" (as a condenser of joy). The Freudian concept trauma is also analysed along with related clinical findings.
