Based on three psychoanalysts - Freud, Lacan and Winnicott, the author approaches the theme of ego constitution, in its relations to the body image. She refers to an imaginary place where the mother image, the youngster’s own image in the mirror and the image of other people intersect in their differences, coincidences and oppositions.
