Abstract

CASTANET, Didier. Conducting and finalizing analytical treatment: considering feminine enjoyment. Reverso [online]. 2008, vol.30, n.55, pp. 35-45. ISSN 0102-7395.

The author deals with the question of feminine joy/pleasure (jouissance) and its relation to the end of analysis. Stemming from the Freudian obstacle formed by the rock of castration, he attempts to verify the theoretical advances made by Lacan upon proposing the feminine joy/pleasure. This concerns, however, both man and woman, opening up, at the end of analysis, to the héteros (Greek - the other of two, other, different).

Keywords : Castration; Phallus; Feminine joy/pleasure; End of analysis; Héteros.
