In this article, we intend to analyze the inter-relationship between Psychoanalysis and Philosophy considering the radical interpretation of modernity, or, in other words, a form of thought that conceives modernity - at least some of its dominating tendencies - as a project of camouflaging human finitude. In this perspective, a confrontation between Psychoanalysis and Philosphy pemits one to salvage knowlege that not only dissimulates anxiety, but that can also be sustained by it.
