Abstract

Anxiety is the last point before the real, being therefore a conductor of treatment. In this article, the author discusses the analyst’s anxiety in order to demonstrate how Lacan used the concept of counter-transference to formalize the concept of anxiety. So being, it is the analyst’s analysis that proportions, in the economy of the individual’s wish, the appearence of the “greater wish”.
