Abstract

REZENDE, Jamily Nacur. The inscription of the surreal art movement interrogating the writing of Lacan. Reverso [online]. 2011, vol.33, n.61, pp. 67-74. ISSN 0102-7395.

This paper aims to highlight the similarities and differences between Psychoanalysis and The Surrealist Art Movement. Jacques Lacan interrogates André Breton, whose name is intrinsically linked to this movement, and also Tristan Tzara, a Romanian poet and writer, who lived in France and founded Dadaism. Politically, Dadaism is a protesting movement aimed to destroy bourgeoisie values and traditional art. Art on a new look and new thoughts.

Keywords : Art; Lacan; Surrealism; Sublimation; Language.
