The author uses the intertextuality of psychoanalysis and literature using the Letter of Lacan Jenny Aubry “Two notes on the child” and Lucio Cardoso’s novel “Chronicle of the Murdered House” to address the role of the family in symptom-formation and transmission of law and desire.
