The medication is very important for the contemporary culture and it has become a symptom of modernity. However, it appears as an impasse psychoanalytic clinic with children, for those who care for them have caught them in an imaginary way. Therefore, this paper aims to present some considerations on medication as impasses in the clinic with children, which places medicalization of life and commodification of health as the main factors.
