Abstract

Taking as its starting point the case widely reported in the media of the parapraxis committed by a Brazilian politician, the article aims to demonstrate that reality after Freud is not the same as before, because our culture comprehends since then the idea that the freudian split, paradigmatic conflict between statement and enunciation, brings a truth with it and addresses itself to the Other.
