Ferenczi was one of the main collaborators and promoters of Freud’s work, dealing mostly with the called “difficult pacients”; psychotic, borderline, and psychosomatic cases. He reintroduced into psychoanalysis the issue of trauma through seduction wich was very polemical at the time.
