Abstract

This article presents some reflections on the need to rescue the subjective process and the challenges that this poses to the psychoanalytic clinic. We start with an overview of subject constitution phenomenon by using it as a reference to understand how is the process of subjectivity and the establishment of the social bond. Next, we turn to thoughts of Dufour and Lebrun to discuss the subject position in postmodernity (psychosis or phobia of otherness), indicating possible solutions to alienation.
