Abstract

MEILMAN, Léa. Seven capital sins: lust. Reverso [online]. 2015, vol.37, n.70, pp. 75-80. ISSN 0102-7395.

This article is about the contradiction between sin and virtue. The main focus of the article is lust. The sins relate to the idea of excess, which is condemned by western culture. Love gets applause from the whole world. Lust is embarrassed and ashamed. It is questioned in this article whether reclassifying lust from sin to virtue is worth it.

Keywords : Sin; Virtue; Desire; Excess; Transgression; Shame; Fault.
