Abstract

ADEODATO, Tereza Raquel Tomé  and  FONTENELE, Laéria. From Freud to Lacan: a reading of stabilization in psychosis. Reverso [online]. 2015, vol.37, n.70, pp. 81-88. ISSN 0102-7395.

Having as context the place of stabilization in the clinic of psychosis, we intend to highlight the main developments made by Freud, concerning the basic psychic mechanisms of psychosis, and by Lacan, who undertook significant theoretical and clinical advances on the treatment that can be made by psychoanalysis, driven by his conceptions of paternal and delirious metaphor. We consider that both, each in his own way, contributed to a better understanding of the problem of triggering and stabilization in psychosis and, more fundamentally, of the role of creation in this process.
