The mental anorexia affects, in its expressive majority, female adolescents who correspond to almost all cases of this manifestation. Considering such predominance, the aim of this work is to think about the relationship between anorexia and adolescence under the light of psychoanalysis, whose contribution allows us to improve the listening to these subjects who, through their anorexic symptom, manifest in the clinic an attempt to formulate something about the feminine, their distress and their positioning towards the Other.
