Abstract

SANTOS, Marcell Felipe A.  and  CECCARELLI, Paulo Roberto. Not even the “Holy Spirit” gets rid of chaos. Reverso [online]. 2017, vol.39, n.73, pp. 91-97. ISSN 0102-7395.

The recent context that the State of Espírito Santo lived face the withdrawal of the police from the streets provoked a wave of barbarism and despair. To try to elucidate the occurrence, the authors of this work start from the Freudian myth presented in Totem and Taboo the drive renunciation inherited by the phylogenetic inheritance, as well as clarification of the construction of the superego. Wrapped up in this chaos, the authors construct their theoretical-clinical hypothesis based on the finding of a lack of limit to the drive satisfaction, for some, the helplessness and for others the free access to the most primitive desires. The reflections presented directly touch the primitive of man present in all of us.

Keywords : Helplessness; Drive; Superego.
