Abstract

SOUZA, Janilton Gabriel de  and  CHAVES, Wilson Camilo. Family: plurality and uniqueness. Reverso [online]. 2017, vol.39, n.74, pp. 47-53. ISSN 0102-7395.

This paper presents the evolution of family seeking to question what in it can be variable and unique. To this end, the works of Freud and Lacan are analyzed to discern the concept of family in Psychoanalyses in counterpoint to social discourse. The conjugality of performing maternal and paternal duties is also articulated, describing how the family plays a primary role in the psychic constitution of a subject and how, in doing this, concomitantly, transmits the insignia of his or her own sexuality.

Keywords : Family; Psychoanalysis; Paternal Role; Conjugality.
