Abstract

RIBEIRO, Sarug Dagir  and  BELO, Fábio Roberto Rodrigues. The 201 clitoris of Marie Bonaparte. Reverso [online]. 2017, vol.39, n.74, pp. 61-67. ISSN 0102-7395.

We will present an overview of the Bonapartist doctrine on women’s sexuality, by means of which we will give special highlights to the role of the clitoris in development of the psychosexuality of the woman and the subsequent thesis of the anatomical cause of frigidity. Bonapartist thinking obeys three major veins of thought: the biologicist, psychoanalytic and ethnological vein. The procedure of systematic analysis of the texts enables us to demonstrate the current importance that Bonapartian thought acquires in psychoanalysis.

Keywords : Clitoris; Frigidity; Woman; Psychoanalysis.
