Not everyone can fully enjoy the moment. Some people remain stuck to the past or anxious about the future. Others are unable to cease what the present has to offer them due to its ephemeral features. And there are even those who fail to give any meaning to such experience. This paper aims to deal with these matters under a modern perspective with a psychanalytic approach. For that, one shall use Clarice Lispector’s book entitled Água Viva, published in 1973.
