Let's type the terms "sexual abuse", "leader" and "religion" into the Google search bar. There are thousands of pages and references found. We have our story there ... These are stories worthy of detective novels or fictional plots of the highest imagination. There are so many occurrences of sexual abuse committed by religious leaders that we cannot help but suspect that these stories guard patterns. In this article, we aim to analyze the psyche of the religious leader himself, assuming the hypothesis of a regression to the narcissistic stage prior to the castration experience.
