Abstract

RODRIGUES, Isabela Paixão  and  MOREIRA, Fernanda Gonçalves. Psychic experiences' elaboration: the role of literature. Junguiana [online]. 2017, vol.35, n.1, pp. 61-70. ISSN 0103-0825.

This article aims to explore how literature can help to elaborate psychic experiences, not only for the one who writes it but also for the one who reads it. Based on Jungian texts on analytical psychology and literature and focusing the creative process not the interpretation of the work, the present article evaluates how different types of texts (poetry, lyrics and books) from different periods can represent a conflict brought from the author's unconscious or act on the reader's individuation.

Keywords : literature; creative process; Vinicius de Moraes; Carlos Drummond de Andrade; Harry Potter.
