FRATESCHI, Mara Soares  and  CARDOSO, Cármen Lúcia. Mental health care practices in primary care. Psico (Porto Alegre) [online]. 2016, vol.47, n.2, pp. 159-168. ISSN 1980-8623.  http://dx.doi.org/10.15448/1980-8623.2016.2.22024.

This study aimed to map the scientific production on the mental health practices developed by the primary health care network. The search resulted in 372 articles, of which 54 were selected to be completely read and analyzed. The articles were analyzed as for their general characteristics and the subjects addressed. As observed, the practices that were outlined in longitudinal and interdisciplinary strategies presented good results for mental health, pointing to advances as regards the consolidation of care strategies which are more comprehending and connected with people's daily life. It is important to emphasize the relevance of studies with the aim to map, describe and assess such practices, thus moving forward towards more humane new ways of thinking and doing health.
