Abstract

BIRMAN, Joel. Creativity and sublimation in psychoanalysis. Psicol. clin. [online]. 2008, vol.20, n.1, pp. 11-26. ISSN 0103-5665.

The aim of this paper is to oppose the concepts of sublimation (Freud) and creativity (Winnicott) in psychoanalysis, in order to point out that both, in spite of their theoretical differences, intend to give a solution to the same problem, that is, the relationship between the subject and the culture.

Keywords : sublimation; creativity; culture.
