Abstract

ESCOBAR, Carlos Henrique. Human Rights: with Marx. Psicol. clin. [online]. 2008, vol.20, n.2, pp. 47-59. ISSN 0103-5665.

Many forms of struggle &- like Human Rights &- that do not have as their goal the reproduction of capital, can take on different forms and allow different usages. From a radical point of view, they should not amount to politics or to revolution, and it is necessary to interpret them in their conjunctures and together with other ideas. None of this is difficult to evaluate if we accompany its origin and its history. To this we add a recapture of Marxist ideas, even though with reformulations and new contributions, particularly in what Marx himself privileges, by saying that he was not Marxist and that his thought was not about that, but regarding anything that could come closer to the roots of history.

Keywords : human rights; reproduction of capital; Marxism.
