The demand for a qualified professional training encouraged the development of the Psychological Assessment Center (CAP) of the Institute of Psychology at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). The CAP is a school clinic specialized in psychological assessment and psychological diagnosis. This experiential report aims to present the work developed at CAP as well as the methods and practices employed in the service. It is expected to contribute to the development of Psychological Assessment in Brazil by promoting strategies that will qualify the training of psychologists in the practice of psychological assessment and psychological diagnosis.
