This study aims to investigate the experience of motherhood of a second child, and to understand the phenomenon of Motherhood Constellation, concept developed by Daniel Stern (1997), during the new infant’s pregnancy. For this purpose, twenty-one pregnant women of the second child, aged between 28 to 43 years, who were interwied in the third trimester gestational. Analysis categories were defined based on the Motherhood Constellation issues, which were used as the foundation for the qualitative content analysis. As highlighted the findings of this study, it was observed in this analysis that the themes Supporting Matrix, Primary Relatedness, Identity Reorganization were more dominant than the theme Life and Growth theme. It was argued that the mother is perhaps more confident of her its competence to ensure the physical and development of the baby. Thus, there is more availability to maternal investment in other themes, making emotional space for the second child.
