Abstract

FURTADO, Mariama Augusto  and  SZAPIRO, Ana Maria. Writing itself and interiority: changes in relationship to suffering in contemporary. Psicol. clin. [online]. 2018, vol.30, n.1, pp. 15-36. ISSN 0103-5665.  http://dx.doi.org/10.33208/PC1980-5438v0030n01A01.

In the face of ongoing changes in the contemporary context, we are witnessing the emergence of ways of being that move away from the internalized character defining Homo psychologicus characteristic of Modernity. They emerge, in the context of changes that we intend to analyze here, other modes of relationship with yourself and other ways to relate to the suffering. So, we aim to reflect on the emergence of the inner dimension as a key issue in understanding the place of suffering in modernity and their movements in contemporary. For this we take some literary novels, produced each season, as an analytical device for understanding the ways to relate to this dimension of interiority. In our view, research in the field of literature offers us an interesting analysis of the universe of transformations in subjectivity and ways of living in society. From these considerations seek to question: what remains of this Homo psychologicus and its contours directed towards interiority? How man relates with himself these days and that gives place to suffering?

Keywords : contemporary; interior; suffering; subjectivity.
